Located just across the street at Discovery Green, we couldn’t have a downtown Houston list without including one of our favorites! The Grove has happy hour Monday-Friday, 4-7pm with special deals like $5 house wine, $6 select cocktails, $4 well drinks, $3 select beers. Light bites range from $5-$8 (truffle fries $7, avocado toast $5, pork belly nachos $8 to name a few). Plus, residents of OPP get an exclusive happy hour from 4-6 Sundays with half-priced bottles of wine, so be sure to take advantage of that. (Did you know this downtown Houston spot was recently named Best Bar for Drinking Before Grocery Shopping?) At this neighborhood bar, you’ll find plenty of refreshing beers or wine specials and appetizers to make your shopping more exciting during their weekday Happy Hour, every Monday through Friday from 4-6PM. Located on the corner of Main and Rusk off the rail, this fairly new spot has happy hour Monday-Friday from 3 p.m.- 6 p.m. & 9 p.m. - 11 p.m. (reverse HH!), and Saturday & Sunday from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. At this unique food hall you’ll find 10 chef-driven foot concepts and two bars, with special deals like $5 well drinks, $1 off draft beer, $6 draft wine by the glass, $1 off ciders, and $3 Bud Light & Pacifico bottles.
